While Iranian people rejoice at the sound of freedom we have Leftist people in some U.S. cities and universities protesting this ‘war of aggression’ on Iran. The New York Times acted like a propaganda arm of Jihadi Islam as they reported the death of the Ayatollah, Ali Khameinei, describing his easy smile, his bushy beard, his fondness for Persian poetry and classic western novels, as if he were a benignly benevolent older guy. (picture a gray-haired grandfather) This is the man who presided over the killing of 35 to 40,000 Iranian citizens for the ‘crime’ of protesting his leadership. The man presiding over “Death to America” chants while rapidly enriching uranium for nuclear weapons.
The Times also described the supreme leader of Iran as “avuncular” and “magnanimous” in its obituary. This 8th grade fortunate-to-be-a-country-boy could make an educated guess but didn’t, for sure, know the meaning of those two words so I looked them up in my Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary and here they are for those of you likewise hindered even while in other ways (that matter in the long run) blessed. Here they are; “avuncular – suggestive of an uncle esp. in kindness or geniality.” Given that the Times was describing this man who presided over the deaths of thousands (some are now reporting 50,000) civilians protesting his stranglehold regime, the definition of magnanimous is even more of a blow to common-sense and to suffering Iranians, but here it is; “showing or suggesting a lofty and courageous spirit: showing or suggesting mobility of feeling or generosity of mind.”
Describing a ruthless Islamic leader in such glowing terms is insane. Craziness has reached a new low. The man is dead. He can do no more harm. I get it. But then I don’t, because “those who don’t learn from history are destined to repeat its mistakes.”
The U.S. was complicit in overthrowing Iran’s prime minister in 1953 in favor of Shah Pahlavi who led the country until the Islamic Revolution of 1979 when an ‘inchoate coalition of leftists, liberals, and Muslim clerics overthrew the monarch, transforming Iran into an Islamic Republic and shifting it from a close U.S. ally to a fierce adversary.’ (Wikipedia) Freedom-loving Iranians in particular, and the world in general, have learned an excruciating lesson the hard way. A lesson none want to do over. The Left forgets history lessons at their own peril. Which could be at the peril of us all. Perhaps this new craziness is the reality definition of ‘Islamophobia’ as Leftists fawn over and seem afraid to say anything that might offend(infuriate) Jihadi Muslims.
In his February 24, 2026, State of the Union address, President Donald J. Trump addressed the Left-wing lawmakers’ lack of support for any accomplishments in the first year of his second term. He gave recognition to Iryna Zarutka’s mother. Iryna was senselessly attacked from behind and killed with a knife by a felon released from jail by a Left-wing judge applying the Leftist definition of ‘compassion’. The Left did not stand. Democrats didn’t stand for unifying against political violence – for the dropping murder rates – supporting law officers – the ending of widespread fraud – protecting minors from sex-change ‘therapy’ and/or surgery – the ‘angel moms’ who lost children to illegal alien killers. For the SAVE act – requiring photo ID and proof of citizenship to vote – Democrats remained corporately glum and seated. There was the border accomplishment; ‘going from millions of illegals crossing the border in 4 years to the past 9 months zero illegal aliens admitted to the United States. “We will always allow legal immigration,” the President assured us. No Democrats stood with the Right side of the aisle and the Trump administration in support of voting integrity.
And then there was the crowning achievement of Democrat foolishness. The words were clearly and deliberately spoken by our President as he said; “One of the great things about the State of the Union is how it gives Americans the chance to see clearly what their representatives really believe – so tonight I’m inviting every legislator to stand with my administration in reaffirming a fundamental principle – if you agree with this statement then stand up and show your support; The first duty of American government is to protect American citizens – not illegal aliens.”
The chamber of Congress erupted into applause by standing Republican lawmakers with the Trump administration. The Democrats sat ‘on their hands’. While President Trump ‘showed their hand’ for all the world to see. It was a defining moment. Trump had called their hand. The Left had shown it. There were witnesses. There is no going back to before that moment. The only way forward for Democrats is to admit their foolhardy ways and to course-correct. Or, keep throwing you-know-what to keep their voter base from seeing clearly. Recent history tells us they will do the latter. Prayer assures us the former is still possible as ‘with God all things are possible’.
The sound of freedom has been relished and reverberated in the hearts and minds of beleaguered humanity from The Fall of Man even to this day. Being enslaved to other men while their own families suffer has never been an acceptable condition for any man not yet beaten into the pulp of unconditional submission to other fallible men.
Through this lens we can understand Jihadi Muslim men. They have been brainwashed and emotionally beaten into unconditional submission to ‘the will of Allah’. The ‘will of Allah’ being to convince, force, or kill all ‘unbelievers’ (in Muhammed) into the same abject surrender that they themselves have had to cower to then becomes the only answer these unregenerate know. So they fight. And force submission when deemed necessary.
This is the war behind the scenes; is it not? Let us pray that Operation Epic Fury does not take long. It is the Iranian leadership’s call; unconditional surrender would suddenly end thedestruction of life, limb, and property. And; if they could but see it; open the way for a better life to them and their families.
It still takes unconditional surrender and submission; but this time to Jesus Christ who is King of kings and Lord of lords. There is nothing too hard for Him. Jesus will save any and all, including Jihadi Muslims, who come to Him in full surrender and acceptance of His answer for our sins – “Jesus Christ the lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.” (John 1:29,36) If we can but see it; this is the ultimate freedom. It is Life eternal. Invigorating Life to a once dead soul.
