We have a King! Jesus Lives! He is the King of kings. He is Lord of lords. He reigns supreme. The law of Christ is forever settled at the throne of Almighty God. His Word is forever settled in heaven and earth. There will be a new heaven and a new earth wherein dwelleth righteousness. (II Peter 3:13) 'For the Lord is our judge, the Lord is our lawgiver, the Lord is our king; he will save us. (Isaiah 33:22) And in Isaiah 9:6 - 'For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder; and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

The prophet Zechariah prophesied of a king riding into Jerusalem on a donkey. As it is written; 'Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, (donkey) and upon a colt the foal of an ass. (Zechariah 9:9)

We call the fulfillment of that prophecy Palm Sunday, recorded for us in Matthew chapter 21, Mark 11:1-11, Luke 19:29-40 and John 12:12-16. That marvelous event is a; startling in its detail; unfolding of events as prophesied by Zechariah many centuries before the prophecy was fulfilled. It is, and was, also startling that a king would ride into his capitol city as if he were a common part of the masses. On a donkey. Nothing to see here, it might seem. Donkeys were a common mode of transport in those days so there was nothing outstanding about a man dressed in everyday clothes riding a donkey along city streets.

But someone, somewhere in the pre-Passover crowds of people swelling the population of the city, recognized Jesus, remembered the prophecy, reflected upon the miracles, made the right connection between prophecy and current events, picked up a palm branch, began to shout 'Hosanna to the King!' and was quickly joined by others recognizing the unfolding of prophetic events. It was a momentous event that not only shook Jerusalem that day but continues to shake and to shape world events as it continues to shake and to reshape personal inner and outer lives to this day.

To recognize and to honor a king is to have constituents submit to and obey his commands. Else he is no king. We may call him a president presiding over a country by the application of pre-existing laws and the democratic process but unless his word is the supreme law of the land, he is no king.

As I perceive it from my 'kitchen window' - including a news window - the TDS inflamed No Kings protests that 'the land of the free and the home of the brave' was recently called upon to patiently endure were less than useless. Unless one takes into consideration, as President Trump 'tweeted', that there was good happening, in that it was a boost to the economy by those buying signage, food, drinks, and of particular note, that fat people were outside getting sunshine and exercise as well as boosting the health of all involved through activity in the sun.

Were the No Kings protests, being staged on Palm Sunday weekend, a coincidence? Or was the timing purposely orchestrated by the devil and his minions?

As I observed segments of the motley crew of protestors, some in frog and other 'fitting' costumes, l inclined toward answering the latter question in the affirmative. According to numerous reports many protestors knew very little, if indeed anything, about policies they were 'protesting' and 'knew' only that 'Trump is bad' at best and 'Trump is a fascist' at worst. When asked for examples their thoughts seemed to freeze. They had none... only frustration. No Kings; they say. That's it.

The No Kings (paid?) protests sweeping the nation on the day before Palm Sunday do seem horridly fitting in this respect; that the U.S.A. has been forced to endure the outcries of anti-God-King sodomites and sons of Belial as they invaded an entire American political party and eventually were even invited into the citadel of the free world - The White House at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW - by POTUS Biden. Thank God for President Trump.

Surrender is an integral, an extremely necessary, portion for any structure of peace. It is impossible to have peace without the weaker submitting and the stronger leading. And especially so when God adds His weight to the scales. He can make the weak strong and the strong weak. God can also make the strong stronger and the weak weaker. There is nothing too hard for God. Once He decides, nothing can stop Him.

God has made a way for the weak to be strong. It is the way of surrendering to Him. We are made strong because surrender puts us on the same side with God. Together against our first nature and together in our second birth. The second Adam - Jesus - has died for us and raised us up together with Him to enjoy a personal freedom that makes us spiritually strong - in Him - to transcend the storms, however vicious, of this present, and temporary, life. God, through a relationship with Him in Jesus Christ by His Holy Spirit gives peace to the surrendered soul. Jesus is our Prince of Peace. Peace, only possible when we surrender.

The Iranian mullahs do have an option...it is called surrender. In an ideal world they would forsake Allah and surrender to Jesus who seeks a personal relationship with them. Aside from that, the mullahs do have another option; surrender to the stronger before it is forced upon them.
