‘’But they understood not…and were afraid to ask…’ (Mark 9:32)
With the midterm elections only days out it seems to me that many an American mind has been closed. Afraid to ask. For many the focus is frighteningly much on material needs (or wants) in the short-term and, just as frightening, lacking in long-term vision and goals even in the material realm, much less in the spiritual. I fear many a vote will be cast in a knee-jerk reaction to pocketbook pain.
While the long-term pain of Leftist policies are yet to be felt (God forbid) by most Americans, the signs warning us of danger are being ignored by Leftists as if removed from many a line of sight. The Leftist monster of Marxism, Islamism, Globalism, and LGBTQism has been showing itself so plainly and for so long that many a passive mind seems used to the idea of careening off a Leftist cliff one day to have the bumpy ride replaced with the temporary euphoria of mid-air. As many have discovered; The fall isn’t what hurts – it’s the landing.
If the Marxist – Islamist – Globalist – LGBTQist Leftist monster were to someday (God forbid) have its driving-off-the-cliff way, the ‘kersplatt’ at the bottom of the downward journey would indeed be painful and disastrous. The painful policies now are covertly focused on destroying the sovereignty of nations in favor of a globalist government, market, and currency, with centralized control of all three. Were that all it would take to satisfy the Leftist hunger for control, well, it may seem doable to submit to. And indeed, that may be all that happens in the ‘euphoric’ downward descent of encroaching blind ignorance. But the landing…
The above isn’t all that the Leftist ‘Great Reset’ entails. The Leftist global mindset is coming increasingly into the open, into the public spotlight, and the agenda reads, just as increasingly, like the fulfillment of Revelation chapter 13, or as it is more properly titled; The Revelation of Jesus Christ to His servant John.
Two thousand years after the above Revelation a man by the name of Klaus Schwab openly describes The Great Reset in his book by that title. To Mr. Schwab the path forward is global conquest by the World Economic Forum through the power of finance coupled with the melding of digital technology with human biology; or as he put it on February 24, 2025 ‘’We have to be prepared for a world where we see a fusion of our physical, our digital, and our biological dimensions.’ End of quote. In his book ‘Google Archipelago’ Mr. Rectenwald argues that ‘’Leftist authoritarianism is the political ideology and modus operandi of what I call Big Digital, which is on the leading edge of a nascent world system. Big Digital is the communications, ideological, and technological arm of an emerging corporate-socialist totalitarianism. The Great Reset is the name that has since been given to the project of establishing this world system.’ But that is not all that leading Leftists have in store for their fellow humans if they gain the central control of world powers. The expressed expectation of upper echelon WEF leaders is to utilize the merging of the digital with human biology, which in application means implanted micro-chips, not new technology in pets (whatever ‘new’ means by now) that has been gaining ground for use in humans.
Brian Green, director of technology ethics at Santa Clara University’s Markkula Center for Applied Ethics, has expressed concerns over the ethics of microchip implants. Green states that in a world where retailers, credit card companies, and employers require mandatory implants, the country can become a ‘surveillance state’. ‘’Green also predicts that should the surveillance state nightmare come to fruition, individuals who decline microchip implants risk being marginalized and walled off from modern conveniences. He adds that individuals should always have the right to opt-out of implants without fear of persecution.’
We are beginning to see and hear the 2000 years old prophecy of Revelation 13 unfold in real time. In chilling detail. God’s prophetic warnings to us are as relevant today as they ever have been. Let me remind us that God says nothing about only ‘modern conveniences’ being withheld from the noncompliant.
The words of the king of Nineveh (Jonah 3:7-9) are also relevant for us today when he repented in sackcloth and ashes and ‘’proclaimed and published through Nineveh by the decree of the king and his nobles, saying, Let neither man nor beast, herd nor flock, taste anything: let them not feed, nor drink water: But let man and beast be covered with sackcloth, and cry mightily unto God: yea, let them turn every one from his evil way, and from the violence that is in their hands, who can tell if God will turn and repent, and turn away from his fierce anger, that we perish not? Verse 10 records God’s response. ‘And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.’ Perhaps it’s not too late for nationwide repentance. Certainly not for personal. And to vote red. With long-term goals. Life Matters!
